About the Author
Abigail Flesch Connors has been an early childhood arts specialist for over twenty years. She is the author of the award-winning 101 Rhythm Instrument Activities for Young Children and Teaching Creativity: Supporting, Valuing, and Inspiring Young Children’s Creative Thinking. She firmly believes in the importance of the arts to the development of the whole child. Abby holds a B.A. in Music from Manhattanville College and an M.A. in Education from the University of Connecticut. Abby has presented workshops on early childhood arts education and rhythm instruments for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC), the New Jersey Music Educators Association, and other groups. She lives with her family in Piscataway, New Jersey.
