David Boyer is the founder/CEO of NVF Magazine, an online publication that promotes independent filmmakers, actors, actresses, FX artists, graphic artists, and musicians. He is the author of six non-fiction books, including Queens of Scream, Film Prodigies & Legends, Hot & Horrifying: The First Ladies of Horror, Rock-n-Roll Party of the Dead, and Cinemassacres.

Among his other credits are fiction writer, editor, film producer, screenwriter, sketch artist, and poet. He lives in Indiana with his two cats, Toby and Buckwheat, who help him to edit his manuscripts by jumping on his keyboard when he isn't looking.
