ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Known as a highly effective teacher, public speaker, and communicator, Hal E. Pitt has taught seminars on team building, leadership, communication, and management in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

As a professor at Regis University, outside of his family home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mr. Pitt teaches a variety of communication courses. He has also conducted seminars, classes, and briefings for hospital and military personnel and for such corporations as Sprint PCS, Toyota, and B.F. Goodrich, as well as the United States Army.

Mr. Pitt has an impressive management background in the health-care industry. He managed more than one hundred medical personnel in a stressful emergency room; recruited, trained, and managed instructors in various training programs; and designed and developed training sessions and model medical programs and curricula. He also evaluated medical courses for their effectiveness.
